There has been a shift in the Area VII calendar and Aspen Farm Horse Trials, Inavale Farm Horse Trials, Whidbey Island Pony Club Horse Trials and The Event at Rebecca Farm will be one week later than where they have been in the recent past. This is expected to be a long term action and not just a one-time change in the Area VII calendar.
We are looking forward to our 16th annual horse trials. We will be running five levels of competition, including Beginner Novice through Intermediate. Thank you to everyone that has supported this event and helped us along the way. Tentatively, all dressage will run on Friday the 28th. Friday will also have cross country for Beginner Novice and Novice. Saturday will be cross country for Training, Preliminary, and Intermediate. Sunday will be show jumping for all levels (It is likely Beginner Novice show jumping will be held on Saturday, depending on entries and volunteers). Spectators are welcome on all days of competition, and handicapped spectators will be allowed to drive their cars (with escort) to an appropriate viewing area. Concessions are available on the grounds all weekend. You may bring your dog if he stays on a leash.

We would like to thank our generous sponsors for their support. Gallops Saddlery has been our title sponsor for the Training Three Day division. Polestar farm has provided a gift basket for the sportsmanship award at the Gallops Saddlery Training Three Day. In 2013 we will not be hosting this educational long format division and would encourage those interested in participating in this class to go to The Event at Rebecca Farm. We will continue to have the USEA recognized Beginner Novice through Intermediate levels of competition.
County Saddlery has generously provided saddle pads for our award winners. Kerrits Activewear has provided fine equestrian apparel for our award winners. Additional Awards have been provided by Toklat Originals. Thank you to our local community for their support provided by John and Phil's Toyota, Town and Country Veterinary Hospital, Landmark Realty and many others. Please support all of these businesses and take a moment to thank them for their contribution.
For concessions we welcome back Russ the BBQ pit master at Murphy's Restrauant in south Corvallis. Their goal is to provide the best food you can find at any event here in the Pacific Northwest. Look for their incredible Breakfast Burito, Biscuits and Gravy and assorted pastries served between 7 and 10:30. Lunch starts at 11:00 with Pulled Pork or Teriyaki Sandwiches, Grilled Baby Back Ribs as well as many other fresh menu options. Surf's Up Espresso will be there to supply everyone with beverages from morning coffee and espresso to afternoon smoothies.
The cross country courses cover most of the property including 2 ponds, forested trails and open fields with rolling hills. The forested trails have stone dust on them for all weather riding and the fields are mechanically aerovated to create a soft well established turf.
Volunteers

This event could not be done with out the dedication and hard work of so many volunteers. Typically we exceed 150 volunteers for the weekend of activities. We are grateful for everyone that volunteers their time to make this event possible. There are many opportunities before and during the event where volunteers are needed. If you have some time available and would like to join us in the production, send us an email or just stop by and see what there is to be done. However if you wait till the day of the show to offer your services we may not have the job you have in mind available, please contact us in advance if you are interested.
contact volunteer coordinator to volunteer at the event.
